Our Alliance currently supports 47 GP practices and serves a population of over 400,00 patients. We deliver a range of services to support general practice resilience, deliver healthcare projects at scale, and provide a unified voice for East Lancashire at regional and national level.

Advance care planning

Working with patients to complete an Advance Care Plan, ensuring all health care professionals are made aware of the patients’ wishes.

Clinical coding service

Supporting practices with scanning, coding, filing, and forwarding - all in line with the latest NHS standards and regulations.

Enhanced access service

Providing patients with primary care services on weekday evenings between 6.30pm and 9.00pm and on Saturdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm.

Finance management service

Covering payroll, ARRS claims, invoice management and end of year accounts to ensure payments and claims are made in a timely manner.

HR and recruitment

Providing end-to-end employment support for Primary Care Networks and GP practices.

Parkinson’s Community Nurse Service

Supporting patients and their families through complex problems and symptoms management related to Parkinson’s.

Research academy

Supporting general practice participation in research - addressing health disparities and improving primary care within communities.

Training and education

Providing a range of training and education opportunities for general practice staff, clinical and non clinical, ARRS, PCN staff.

Winter resilience support

Supporting general practice resilience by offering additional GP appointments, especially when pressure on the system is high.
