As the ‘at scale’ organisation for primary care in East Lancashire, the Alliance supports general practice year-round, but especially during the Winter months when pressure on the system is at its highest.
We operate Winter Resilience Hubs, offering additional GP appointments or when funding is available Acute Respiratory (ARI) Hubs to offer same day GP appointments for chest infections, coughs and colds, to relieve pressure on Primary Care and divert patients away from Urgent Care or A&E.
