Enhanced access service

The Enhanced Access Service (EAS) allows GP practices and PCNs to offer appointments outside standard hours, including weekday evenings and weekends. This added flexibility, including the option of remote or face-to-face consultations, helps to improve patient access to vital healthcare services.

Patients can make appointments through their GP practice with a range of clinicians including GP’s, Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

We currently manage the EAS for 5 PCN’s serving a population of over 216,000 people.

Our fully managed service is designed to help your team deliver high-quality patient care.

  • Extended hours including weekday evenings between 5.00pm and 9.00pm and Saturdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
  • Face to face and remote (phone and video) consultations available with a range of clinicians including GPs and Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
  • Access to a range of services including Chronic disease reviews (i.e. asthma, diabetes), Phlebotomy (including paediatric bloods for children aged two plus) and much more.
  • Includes all referrals to secondary care services to ensure continuity of care for patients.

Excellent service. Really appreciate being able to go out of hours and not having to take days off work to attend. Brilliant!
